Stones of bad tongues
Through the imagery of the leaflet, I reflect
on the independence (Quebec) and autonomist (Alsace) movements that
turned the 1970s and 1980s upside down. From an apparently absent
archive, I offer a contemporary reading of these periods. Thus, it is
not an exercise in anachronism, but rather in anhistorism. In
this idea, it restores my current preoccupations to one of their
conditions of emergence. As a result, we read there a text contrary
to the cultural-identity discourse that we would believe to find
there.
