First Tattoo
Following the methodological trilogy of conceptual art, First Tattoo is an actual first tattoo, is presented as such and is designed to be remembered as such. The tattoo was done by Michelle Lacombe, a performance artist who has included tattooing in her body art practice for over 10 years.
The version presented in the gallery takes the form of a rectangular monolith punctuated by a grid of more than 250 hands, pointed towards the viewer.
